Through our operational department dedicated to mobility, we offer you tailor-made support in your research and development of innovative, sustainable means of mobility that respect the energy transition.
Convinced that our future travel will not depend on a single technical solution or a single energy source, we believe in a plural mobility whose engines will adapt to the various types of journeys: urban, suburban and long-distance. Thus, our mission, to optimise sustainable mobility solutions, reflects our scientific impartiality and leads us to treat each technology with the same intention: to make it contribute efficiently to the energy transition.
We support both innovative propulsion technologies (BEV - electric, FCEV - hydrogen) and the more traditional ones (ICE - fuel, HEV/PHEV - hybrid and MHEV - micro-hybrid).
The Emitech group is investing several million euros to ensure the development of test facilities for testing batteries, electric motors and their electronics, as well as hydrogen fuel technologies.
Our support extends to approval and qualification procedures with specific adaptations of our environmental test facilities to incorporate the required facilities (e-motor bench in EMC cage, use of hydrogen to power fuel cells during the qualification phases, etc.)
Located in the heart of the North Franche Comté automotive cluster, R&D Moteurs was inaugurated on October 28, 2011 in Brognard.
