Sand and dust testing

These tests mainly concern aeronautics and defence (DO160, GAM EG13, MIL STD810, STANAG 4370,...) but a growing number of sectors are now specifying them: civil engineering, urban equipment, automotive,...

Our subsidiary Environne' Tech is equipped with an exceptional test bench in this field.

Equipped with an exposure chamber of 1m3 and various servitudes (electric, pneumatic and hydraulic), it is a reference for carrying out sand and dust blowing testing with its specifications in temperature, humidity, speed and particle concentration:

• The speed can be set from 2.4 to 25 m/s (on a 1m² section)
• Humidity is regulated to be less than 30% Hr
• The temperature is adjustable and regulated from 23°C to 70°C.
• The concentration is maintained at a fixed level throughout the test by means of a servo drive between a concentration sensor and a dosing unit. The adjustment range is 0 and 10
